Chapter 15

Feeling a strong sense of insecurity, Ariel decided to return just to keep an eye on those two girls who may escape. With an embarrassed smile, she excused herself and boarded a cab. However, when she reached, she was neither mentally nor physically prepared for the scene that greeted her. Ariel saw 747. He was right in front of her. 747's concern for the weak and frail Genie angered her. She rushed to hug him. 747 was stunned. His eyes no longer consisted of love for her. Only shock. She could not believe his reaction. She was expecting a wide smile on 747's face. Everything was upside down. Time seemed to pause. Tears collected in Ariel's eyes.

" Don't you miss me? I had came back for you." She tightened her grasp of 747's arms.
" Why did you kidnap them?" 747 replied coldly.
" They stole your heart. One of them even had a boyfriend so why are you still so foolish?"
" You've changed. What happened to the nice old Ariel?"
" I'm not the one that changed. Your love for me changed.I couldn't accept it!"
" 007, it seems I've to settle some old scores. Take the girls with you."
007 nodded and gave him his word.
" No they're not leaving!"
Out of a sudden, she revealed a dagger from her pocket and let out a sinister laughter. To protect them, his natural instinct caused him to push Ariel aside.
A tear drop, a heart broken, a hurt girl.

Just then, Joe appeared. After noticing the awkward change in Ariel's expressions at the cafe, he followed her. Joe picked her up and gently murmured," Don't cry. A man like this doesn't worth your tears!" He then dragged the heartbroken girl under his shelter for love.
